52 Weeks Of Unweird Pinterest Projects

So if you're not crafty, don't run away! There are lots of crazy things on Pinterest and that would probably be an interesting year of posts too. Someone way cooler than me should make a weird Pinterest project every week. However, I only pin stuff I would actually use (and I mostly used Pinterest to organize bookmarks I already had). This is just my attempt at making some of those ideas reality.

Correction: as I am no longer on Pinterest (variety of reasons, mostly copyright concerns; not sure I agree with how Pinterest handles that), I'll just be pulling ideas from random blogs and things I found. I'll miss Pinterest but it'll be kind of fun to go old school too (bookmarks, printouts, etc.) It's a great program that works really well. They just need to find a way to deal with copyright issues other than saying "good luck it's all your problem."

It's easy to have the best of intentions and not really try new stuff. Since we're still in the DC area, it can get sort of boring on the old blog here. This is my way of keeping myself from falling into a grind and keeping the blog (and my life) interesting. I expect most of my posts to be local sites and new recipes but you never know. The main point is that I'm going pull up my Pinterest boards and try something new every week. Stay tuned....

Love love this idea! Most of what we did on our advent calendar this year came from Pinterest. My husband says I'm a better cook and wife because of it ;-)

I also love the idea. I've done quite a few projects I saw on pinterest but alas now with language class and all I have no time for fun stuff like that. I guess I'll be living vicariously through you...
